The following is a press release from the Professional Regulation Commission.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 19,191 of the 43,512 passed the Criminologist Licensure Exam given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Antique, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo , Legazpi, Lucena, Occidental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last November 2019. The results of the investigation regarding eight (8) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their obligations under the rules and regulations for the permit investigation.

The members of the Board of Criminology who have taken the license exam are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A.

The results were released within twenty-two (22) business days from the last examination day.

From January 16 to January 31 and February 3 to 12, 2020, the registration for issuing the Professional Identification Card (ID) and the certificate of registration will be done online. Go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for the first registration. Those who will register must take the following: duly downloaded Oath Form of Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, proof of admission (only for identification), 2 passport photos (colored with white background and complete nameplate), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece of short brown envelope. Successful examiners must register in person and register in the roster of registered professionals.

New passers-by are reminded of Article 19, Article III of R.A. 11131, declares to know: “All successful candidates in the licensing exam take their oath of appeal personally before the council or one of its members, and with the APO in a massive oath taken for that purpose. Any person authorized by law may take an oath to successful examiners only with membership of the APO prior to practicing the profession. “

The dates and locations for the oath taking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the aforementioned exam WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
